About Us

Hi!  My name is Courtney, and I just want to say welcome to my blog!

Just a little bit about our family:  Our family started in 2005 when I married Aaron, the love of my life!  I had dreams of a cute little house with a cute picket fence, and no worries at all!  Oh boy was I in for a shock! 

Our family has had our fair share of struggles, but each and every one has helped us to grow individually, and as a family!  I have come to realize that there are probably people who can benifit from hearing what our family has come through, and how we have not only endured them, but risen above them! 

So, although I have been blogging for a really long time, I recently made the decision to make my blog much more available to the public in hopes that someone can benifit from hearing our story! 

Aaron and I have two beautiful children!  Kyle who is seven, and Mackenzie who is five!  You might have noticed on my side bar that Aaron is nolonger with us.  That is because in late 2011 he passed away due to health issues leaving me a widow, and single mother of our two amazing kids! 

You may have noticed that I still speak of Aaron in the present tense.  This is because he is still just as much a part of our family as he always was!  We are members of The Church Of JESUS CHRIST Of Later Day Saints, or in other words we are Mormon's!  We made the decision to get married in the Temple which makes our family an eternal one!  There is no "Till Death Do You Part" in our marraige!  When our family is reunited in Heaven someday, Aaron & I will still be married, and our kids, and their decendants will still be our family!  You might also be interested in reading
